Summer is nearly here, well almost.

The aim of our camps is for you and your horse to have fun, learn and to make new friends. You have two riding sessions a day, and the groups are split into similar riding abilities of 4/5 people. We try to encourage everyone to enjoy their time here at Bow House Equestrian while learning. It is like pony club camp but for adults, mind you there is no tack and turnout!  Each horse is stabled, you will need to bring mucking out things, feed and hay. The stables are all clean deep litter shavings, please leave them clean when you go. JP usually teaches the braver riders and Caroline the less brave. We try to make it fun while you learn, doing some flatwork, grid work, show jumping (lots) and if the ground is ok some xc. Our facilities are great for camps and we put up a marquee where you eat, drink and can chat in the evenings, last year we got some arm chairs and sofas, these were very popular to relax in for the evenings.

The cost is £140 for 2 nights stabling and the 3 days riding sessions, if you would like to come in the night before you are most welcome just add another nights stabling £10. So that total would be £150. We can take part time campers only if there is space in a camp, not often possible. Strictly no dogs.

We do get very booked up, so book early, total payment with booking. But we do not put the cheques in until 4 weeks before each camp, so if you have to cancel earlier than 4 weeks we will give you a full refund. Cancellation within 4 weeks of a camp a 75% refund. We do need numbers in advance both for us to do groups and for the caterers so they can make menus and order / buy fresh local food.We have caterers that do the food and the cost is £42.50 for all meals and coffee breaks, and if you are only eating lunch as not staying overnight please phone Leigh to ask for a lunch only price. Leigh’s numbers 01588672751….07968618646

Booking form below. Please fill in and send back with full payment to Bow House Equestrian. (a separate cheque for the food to Taste buds for £42.50) No booking taken without payment for riding and food.

Do phone us if you would like more details or just a chat. Camps are fun, popular and many people attend several each year.
