Adult Camps

A slightly different end to the summer camps.
October 15th – 19th A week of training days.
Take your pick of what day / days  you would like to come.
Flat work, pole work, grids & distances are some of the things we can work on.
Groups and some private lessons. Maybe a jump or pole type group lesson and a Private or semi private flat work lesson each day. Tell us what you would like and we will do it. £65 per day inc lunch.  stabling available if you would like to do more than one day.

If you would like to do more than one camp this will be fine. Stay  have a pub ride on day off, or watch JP ride or just chill with a glass of wine.

The aim of our camps is for you and your horse to have fun, learn and to make new friends. You will have 4 instructional riding sessions during the camp. The groups are split into similar riding abilities of 4/5 people. We try to encourage everyone to enjoy their time here at Bow House Equestrian while learning. It is like pony club camp but for adults, mind you, there is no tack and turnout!
Each horse is stabled (sorry no turn out), you will need to bring mucking out things, feed and hay. The stables are all clean deep litter shavings, please leave them clean when you go. The stables all have water drinkers, but do bring a large water bucket if you prefer. There is a locked tack room for you to put your tack in.
JP usually teaches the braver riders and Caroline the less brave. We try to make it fun while you learn, doing some flatwork and pole work, grid work, show jumping exercises and courses (lots of jumping) and if the ground is ok some xc.
Our facilities are great for camps and we have a stables kitchen where you eat, drink and can chat in the evenings, Tea and coffee to help your self to.
You can either sleep in your trailer / lorry / caravan or put up a tent, we have a excellent hot shower in the stable yard and loos.
The cost is £160 for 2 nights stabling, the riding sessions and lunch. Please make riding cheque to BOW HOUSE EQUESTRIAN.
Food for the camps is being done by THE CROWN at Wentnor. Lunch is inc in the camo cost and the evening meal start at about £10. Lunch is at Bow House and the evening meals we will go to the pub, Really good pub food.  Please bring money to pay for your food. Bring your own breakfasts.
We have a few electric hook ups please ask if you would like one its £5 per night. We can take part time campers only if there is space in a camp, this is not often possible. Strictly no dogs.
We do get very booked up, so book early, total payment with booking. But we do not put the cheque in until 2 weeks before each camp, so if you have to cancel earlier than 2 weeks and we can fill your space you will get a full refund. Within the last 2 weeks if you have to cancel we will try to fill your space and give you a part refund….if we can not get a new camper we are sorry but no refund.
